AMANDA L. IGLESIAS
I am an architect in New York City.
My research via @iglesiasproject seeks to enrich the church’s sense of possibility and architectural imagination.
I am the curator of "The Architecture of Prayer," an international survey of the contemporary church and its architecture, recently on display at the Brauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University (Summer 2024), Wheaton College (Spring 2024) and Calvin University (Spring 2023).
My writing has been published in Comment Magazine, Christianity Today, the New York Review of Architecture, Architecture Today, and the "Making Space" podcast.
I hold a BA in Studio Art from Wheaton College, a Master of Architecture from Yale University, and a Master of Philosophy in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge. I attend Church of the City and am a member of the Community at the Crossing in New York City.
