AMANDA L. IGLESIAS

I am an architect, curator and sacred space consultant. ​My research via @iglesiasproject seeks to enrich the church’s sense of possibility and architectural imagination.

​

I am the curator of "The Architecture of Prayer," an international survey of contemporary church architecture, on display at Belmont University (Fall 2026), the Brauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University (Summer 2024), Wheaton College (Spring 2024), and Calvin University (Spring 2023).

​

My writing has been published in Comment Magazine, Christianity Today, the New York Review of Architecture, Architecture Today, and the "Making Space" podcast. My church consulting work has been profiled in Christianity Today.

​

I hold a BA in Studio Art from Wheaton College, a M.Arch from Yale University, and an M.Phil in Architecture and Urban Studies from the University of Cambridge. I am currently a Senior Fellow at Belmont University's O'More College of Architecture & Design, and a Thought Leader with the Creative Arts Collective.
